ALMA MEDIA DIVESTS ITS BALTIC TELEMARKETING UNIT

Alma Talent Oy’s subsidiary Suoramarkkinointi Mega Oy has today agreed to sell its shareholding in Müügimeistrite A/S, corresponding to 80% of the total share capital, to the company’s acting management. Müügimeistrite A/S operates in the telemarketing business in Estonia and Latvia. The company’s Managing Director Tarmo Laus, who previously held a minority interest in the company, will now take on full responsibility for its business operations. The business generated revenue of approximately EUR 5 million in 2021.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price. The transaction does not have a significant impact on Alma Media’s result.

“The Baltic telemarketing unit has performed at an excellent level under Tarmo Laus’ leadership. However, the business has very few synergies with the Group’s telemarketing activities in Finland or Alma Talent’s other business operations. Tarmo has a long track record with the company and this transaction is a good solution for the company’s clients as well as its employees,” says Juha-Petri Loimovuori, CEO of Alma Talent.
