ALMA MEDIA’S COMPARISON DATA UNDER THE NEW SEGMENT STRUCTURE
On 21 March 2018, Alma Media announced its plan to combine the Alma News & Life business segment, which produces news and lifestyle services, and the Alma Regions business segment, which focuses on regional and local media business. Following the change, Alma Media has three business segments: Alma Markets, Alma Talent and the new segment Alma Consumer. The new business group structure and corresponding reporting practices took effect on 1 April 2018.
Centralised services produced by the Group’s parent company as well as centralised support services for advertising and digital sales for the entire Group are reported outside segment reporting.
The new segment structure will be used for the first time in the interim report for the second quarter, to be published on 18 July 2018.
The enclosed table presents quarterly data for 2017 in accordance with the new segment structure. The figures are unaudited.
