ALMA MEDIA SELLS ITS STAKE IN KOTIKOKKI NET OY

Alma Media has agreed to sell the shares (65% of the share capital) of Kotikokki net Oy, which it owns, to Rohea Oy, the minority owner of the company. The transaction will take place on 1 October 2024.

Kotikokki.net is a digital service site focused on cooking and food recipes, with a turnover of EUR 0.2 million in 2023. The service reaches over 200,000 different users each week.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The acquisition does not have a significant impact on Alma Media's earnings.

"In line with Alma News Media's strategy, we will focus more and more on nationwide, subscription-based digital news media. Kotikokki will continue to serve its users and advertisers by the new main owner,” says Juha-Petri Loimovuori, Director of Alma News Media.

“Kotikokki.net continues to enrich Finnish dining moments in everyday life and celebrations without changes. As the largest recipe service in Finland, Kotikokki offers a place for storing important recipes and seeking food inspirations,” says Eero Holmila, CEO of Rohea.
