Alma Media to renew its media sales model

ALMA MEDIA TO RENEW ITS MEDIA SALES MODEL
Alma Media reorganises the commercial operations of its media sales. The main objective of the new, common Alma Media Solutions concentrating on key account sales is to strengthen the development work of digital solutions for advertising and marketing communications, handling of key accounts, sales support as well as marketing and sales.
“The Alma Media Solutions organisation will tighten co-operation with our key accounts. A centralised operating model enables the realisation of new Alma-level products and customer-specific, unique solutions especially in digital format. This will help our customers to better target their marketing messages to their target groups through Alma’s extensive network. Buying Finland’s best media solutions will become easier, faster and more flexible for our customers,” says Kai Telanne, President and CEO at Alma Media.
Appointed personnel in the Alma Media Solutions organisation
The Executive Team of the Alma Media Solutions organisation will be lead by Tiina Järvilehto, M.Sc. (Econ.), who will also continue as the Director of Media Sales in Kauppalehti. Elina Kukkonen, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as Marketing Director. Previously she has worked as a Marketing Manager in Kauppalehti. Johanna Vartiainen, M.Sc. (Econ.), will continue as the Director of Digital Ad Operations and Development. Members of the Alma Media Solutions Executive Team also include Kimmo Ilmavirta, BBA, Sales Director of Digital Sales of Aamulehti and Regional Media, and Tuomas Avonius who will be the Head of the Alma Media Solutions sales team in the future. The person in charge of product development will be recruited at a later date.
