ALMA MEDIA TO SELL ITS 5.6% STAKE IN KPK YHTIÖT
Alma Media Corporation has today agreed to sell all of its share capital in KPK Yhtiöt Oyj (formerly Keski-Pohjanmaan Kirjapaino Oyj) to Ilkka-Yhtymä Group.
A total of 24,379 Series A shares owned by Alma Media Plc, representing 5.6% of the total share capital of KPK Companies Plc and 0.5% of its votes, are transferred in the share transaction.
In the last year's financial statements, KPK Yhtiöt Oyj recorded revenues of EUR 26.8 million and earnings of EUR 0.6 million for the period. The group’s balance sheet totaled EUR 37.8 million and an equity ratio of 76.1 per cent at the end of the year.
The two sides have agreed not to make the purchase price public. The deal has no significant performance impact for Alma Media.
“In our strategy, we focus particularly on developing, growing and internationalising our digital businesses. In Finland, we focus on nationwide media and digital services, digital advertising and marketing solutions, and paid digital content. Divesting regional media and print business is a continuation of our previous divestments.,” says Kai Telanne, CEO of Alma Media.
