PERTTU KAUPPINEN APPOINTED SENIOR EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF ILTALEHTI

Perttu Kauppinen, 42, B.Soc.Sci, has been appointed Senior Editor-in-Chief of Iltalehti. Kauppinen has worked as the Iltalehti’s Editor-in-Chief for News since 2018 and in addition to the newsroom, his duties have included IL-TV broadcasting and technological solutions related to journalism. Prior to Iltalehti, Kauppinen worked as the Editor-in-Chief for Etelä-Suomen Sanomat and Content Director for Mediatalo ESA. Earlier he has worked for Helsingin Sanomat as the Managing Editor for digital content. 

Kauppinen will start work as the Senior Editor-in-Chief on 17 February 2021. He will report to Kari Kivelä, Senior Vice President of the Alma Consumer business unit.
