Riina Nevalainen appointed Executive Editor-in-Chief of Kauppalehti, the leading business media in Finland

RIINA NEVALAINEN APPOINTED EXECUTIVE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF KAUPPALEHTI, THE LEADING BUSINESS MEDIA IN FINLAND
Riina Nevalainen (42), Master of Arts, has been appointed as the Executive Editor-in-Chief of Kauppalehti, the leading business daily in Finland and Director, responsible for editorial work at Alma Talent. Since 2019, Ms. Nevalainen has been the Editor-in-Charge of news activities in major regional newspaper in Tampere region, Aamulehti and has been responsible for the last few years for Aamulehti's local media in Pirkanmaa (Tampere region). Prior to this, Nevalainen has had a long journalistic career as a news manager in Aamulehti and as a reporter of the digital Aamulehti. Riina Nevalainen has received the Great Journalist Award for her work as Journalistic Manager of the Year in 2020 in Finland.
Nevalainen will start in her new position in May at 2023 at the latest. She will report to Alma Talent CEO, Juha-Petri Loimovuori.

In connection with the appointment, the Editor-in-Chief of the Arvopaperi media, Finland’s only multichannel media focusing exclusively on investing, will also change from 18 February 2023. The new Editor-in-Chief is Master of Arts Ninni Myllyoja. Ms. Myllyoja will continue to lead the Alma Talent's joint editorial office, responsible of the stock exchange content also in Kauppalehti and Talouselämä, the largest weekly economic magazine in the Nordic countries, published by Alma Talent.
Jussi Kärki, Editor-in-Chief of Talouselämä, will serve as the acting Editor-in-Chief of Kauppalehti until Riina Nevalainen starts in her new post.
