Alpine Bank Announces New Credit Officer

Bill Roop, president and CEO of Alpine Bank, is pleased to announce that Rebecca Smith has joined the bank as Credit Officer. She brings with her over 11 years of experience in financial credit analysis. 

Ms. Smith was born, raised and still resides in Rockford.  She majored in Finance at Northern Illinois University, where she attained her Bachelors of Science degree and graduated with honors. 

She believes the most important aspect of her job is “learning about our customers, both individuals and businesses and helping them be successful.”
