Alpine Bank Officer Promotions Announced

Alpine Bank is pleased to announce the following employee promotions.  Mary Breeden, Assistant Vice President, has been promoted to Vice President and Cash Management & Merchant Services ManagerSara Porter, Application Support & Electronic Banking Officer, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Application Support & eBanking Manager.

Two branch managers, Kerry Williams, Kirkland branch, and Patty Ribovich, North State branch in Belvidere, were promoted to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager.

Mary Breeden has worked at Alpine Bank for nearly 15 years. She is a past recipient of the Alpine Bank Service Star Award for External Customer Service. In 2011, she received the Certified Treasury Professional® (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals. In 2012, Mary was granted the designation of Certified Payments Professional™ (CPP) by the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). 

Ms. Breeden prides herself on being able to provide local service and delivering quick and professional service at any time for her customers.  The most important aspect of her job is to ensure that she is “helping our business customers.”

Sara Porter joined Alpine Bank over 11 years ago. She attended Rock Valley College and also received her Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation from NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association. In 2007, she received the Alpine Bank Service Star Award for Service to External Customer.  In 2012, she received the Alpine Bank Role Model Service Star Award.

Ms. Porter is instrumental in making sure that Alpine Bank is on the forefront of all technological advances in banking.  She stated, “Our greatest accomplishment is that we are a local bank, but we offer big bank technology.”

Kerry Williams became a part of the Alpine Bank family in January 2000.  Ms. Williams has been manager at the Kirkland branch since 2003.  Kerry is a past recipient of Role Model Service Star Award. 

As a Boone County native, she stays involved in the community as well as DeKalb County.  In her spare time, Ms. Williams travels the country participating in rodeo roping competitions. 

Patty Ribovich has been with the Alpine Bank family for 17 years.  She began her career as a part-time teller and quickly moved into the role of personal banker.  She has been branch manager of the North State branch, in Belvidere, since 2004.  She says that “being given the trust and responsibility of being a branch manager has afforded me the opportunity to focus on ensuring that my branch continues to give excellent customer service. 

When not at work, Ms. Ribovich finds time to spend with her husband of 37 years, her three grown children and her three beautiful grandchildren.  Every year, she and her husband also host a Rockford Riverhawk’s baseball player at their home.
