Bill Roop, President & CEO of Alpine Bank, has announced the promotions of two Alpine Trust & Investment Group officers, Carol Moll and Steve Riley.

Carol Moll has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Personal Trust Officer.  Ms. Moll has been in the financial industry for 35 years, with 18 of those in the trust business.  She has been with the Alpine Bank family, since 2008.

Carol is actively involved in the community.  She serves as president of the board of Northern Illinois Hospice & Grief Center.  She is also a past board member of the Center for Sight & Hearing.  She is a past president and treasurer of the congregation at St. Mark Lutheran Church and currently serves as the treasurer of the Endowment Committee.  She also enjoys performing with the Voices of St. Mark and the Mendelssohn Chorale.  In her spare time, Carol and her husband, Jeff, are avid boaters and enjoy attending theater productions, especially in New York City, where two of her children live.

Her commitment to her community is reflected in her career.  She believes that one of the most important elements of her job is “relationship management and meeting the multi-faceted needs of a diverse client base.”  She also believes in “participating in a team environment that maximizes the individual strengths of its members.”

Steve Riley has been promoted to Vice President and Investment Officer.  Mr. Riley began his financial career in 1984.  He joined the Alpine Bank family in 2001 and shortly after became a financial advisor.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MN, Mr. Riley attended college at St. Cloud State University, where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Accounting.

Since 2003, he has been on the board of the Rock River Valley Blood Center.  On that board he has served as past president and as a member of the Finance Committee.  For the past nine years, he has also been on the Wesley Willows Planning Committee.  Outside of work, Mr. Riley participates in numerous outdoor sports.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, riding ATVs and snowmobiling.

Mr. Riley believes that his attention to detail and passion for what he does differentiates him from others in his line of work.  Steve stated, “My investment research and customer satisfaction are the most important things to me.”
