Brenten Witherby Joins Alpine Bank

Bill Roop, president of Alpine Bank, has announced that Brenten Witherby, Assistant Vice President – Commercial Services, SBA, has joined the Alpine Bank Family.  Mr. Witherby has seven years of experience in commercial lending, specializing in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending programs, including 504 and 7(a).

“As a local bank, and Preferred SBA Lender, we have the unique opportunity to understand the needs of our neighborhood businesses,” stated Mr. Roop.  “Brenten’s addition to our Commercial team strengthens our experience and unmatched dedication to our business customers.”

As a life-long Winnebago County resident, Mr. Witherby attended Rockford College in which he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Business Administration, Finance.  He has also had extensive training in SBA 504-related classes, through the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO).

An addition to his role at Alpine Bank, Mr. Witherby is also actively involved in the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.  As a member of the Board of Trustees, he serves on the Community Needs, Dr. Louis Rubin, and Program Related Investment grant making committees.  He also serves on the local, governing body of ATHENAPowerLink, a business advisory panel for female-owned businesses.
