Matt Roegner Joins Alpine Bank
Bill Roop, President of Alpine Bank, has announced that Matt Roegner has joined Alpine Bank as Executive Vice President & Commercial Banking Manager. Mr. Roegner brings with him 28 years of experience in the financial field. Throughout his banking career, he has overseen departments of commercial banking, mortgage, retail, marketing and operations.
Mr. Roegner is an alumnus of the University of Iowa, where he attained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Banking.
As an avid sportsman, Mr. Roegner is the chairman of the Stateline Youth Sports Association (SYSA). He is also co-chair for SYSA’s complex fundraising effort. He serves on the Athletic Excellence and Construction Committees for the School District of Beloit and is a past president of the Stateline YMCA. Mr. Roegner has also volunteered through the Stateline United Way as a campaign director, allocations chairperson and treasurer.
When not at work, Mr. Roegner enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and three children, Megan, Cameron and Grace. As a family, they stay active in basketball, swimming, and baseball, among many other sports. In addition to this, he coaches sports through the YMCA, SYSA and Boys & Girls Club.
