SONY signs 9-year office and lab lease in Brussels

Altaal has signed a 9-year lease contract with SONY at its office and lab property, Omega Court in Brussels. The lease comprises lab space of approximately 1,250 sqm as well as an additional 1,230 sqm office space.

Altaal acquired Omega Court in 2022 held to a high standard, the transformation plan for Omega Court includes achieving BREEAM Excellent certification by implementing geothermal heating, integrating energy-efficient lighting, and establishing water use monitoring. Leasable area spans almost 18,000 sqm over six floors above-ground in three wings, along with 200 parking spots below ground and 300 solar panels.

Altaal is currently having a successful period of leasing with several signed long leases in the range of five-to-ten-year maturities with high-quality counterparts and strong rental levels.
