Vejle Rejser partners with Amadeus to deliver new levels of customer service

Amadeus welcomes Vejle Rejser as full reference customer for its product portfolio in the Scandinavian market. Vejle Rejser will implement Amadeus Sales Management Solution and Management Information System to improve operational efficiency and management reporting.

Stockholm, 30 September 2010, Amadeus is pleased to announce the signing of a long term agreement as full reference supplier to Vejle Rejser. Amadeus will provide Vejle Rejser with a unique and tailored tool based on the Amadeus Sales Management Solution, SAM. Amadeus Management Information System is also included in the new set up providing Vejle Rejser with a system covering front, mid and back office functions within the same solution.

The new tool which is set to go live November 1st this year is the result of a close development partnership that dates back to December 2009. In the aftermath of the financial crisis Vejle Rejser saw the need of new technology to match new service levels, business strategies and objectives seen as a requisite for future success in the market of business travel management. Via a number of workshops and consulting sessions the parties mapped the specific needs of Vejle Rejser prior to designing the appropriate solution.

SAM is designed to strengthen customer loyalty and customer service, via the efficient pre trip management features where offers and quotes are created ensuring the customer an agreed number of alternative itineraries. The follow up process is supported by strong document management to increase look-to-book-ratios and up-sell opportunities. Furthermore the system enables post trip information to be published to corporate customers via a tailor-made web portal setup.

The new agreement is a continuation of a long standing and close partnership between Vejle Rejser and Amadeus with regards to travel management technology.
