Continued growth and stronger financial position.

CEO comment:

The second quarter was characterised by events such as acquisitions, integrations and contract management wins. During the period Nytida continued to win management contracts, while Vardaga sustained a positive trend of increased occupancy in elderly care. In Altiden, we acquired two social care companies, which will further strengthen our position in Denmark. In Norway, we divested and handed back elderly care units, which is a key step for increasing the focus and improving margins for Stendi. I would like to thank all of our employees who are delivering high-quality and effective care every day. Their commitment and knowledge forms the basis for our business and creates the trust we receive from care receivers, their family members and our clients.

Increased net sales and earnings
In the second quarter, net sales rose 10 per cent to SEK 3,143 million (2,851). EBITA was SEK 229 million (146), corresponding to 7.3 per cent (5.1). Earnings were positively impacted by non-recurring effects, while the effect of higher costs due to inflation was negative. A strong cash flow is contributing to reduced indebtedness and stronger financial position.
