New management structure strengthens Ambea’s Norwegian operations
Following the Company’s expansion and growth in Norway in 2016, Ambea is now taking a comprehensive approach to strengthen the Norwegian operations. Truls Navestad, currently head of Heimta, one of three companies acquired by Ambea in Norway, has been appointed as Head of Norway from August 1st 2017. Truls Navestad will also become a new member of Ambea’s Leadership team.
In 2016 Ambea acquired three companies that provide support and residential facilities for people with disabilities, and opened seven Ambea-operated residential facilities in Norway.

Ambea has more than 20 years of experience in the care sector, and this, combined with the branch expertise present in Norway from the local management team and Truls Navestad as head of daily operations, form a strong foundation to build upon”. Truls started and has successfully managed Heimta for several years and we feel he is the right person to take the operation to the next level”, says Ambea’s CEO Fredrik Gren.

We are overhauling the organisation, integrating administrative functions to quality-assure our routines and financial management, and to introduce and adapt our state-of-the-art management system Qualimax for Norway. We are also offering our specific care services training courses, such as care leadership, the low arousal approach etc.,” says Fredrik Gren.
In addition to Truls Navestad, a new CFO is appointed and together with a HR Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Marketing Manager a strong management team is established to develop Ambea's Norwegian operations.
The current Head of Norway Agneta Lindgren, who has worked with disability issues within Ambea for 17 years will take on a senior advisory role, working with Ambea’s CEO, and will also continue to contribute with her expertise to the Leadership Team and to Truls Navestad in his new role.
