Tyler is a cheerful, outgoing, teenaged patient with autism. His orthodontist, Jean McGill, DDS, MS, in Easton, Pennsylvania, treated him for narrow arches, crowding of the teeth and a severe overbite using traditional braces. Oral hygiene, which had been a lifelong problem, has been simplified by his improved bite and straight teeth. Tyler, who completed treatment in December of 2014, happily reports “he has the best teeth in the whole family.”
