AMERICAN HOME SHIELD MEMPHIS SERVICE CENTER 20th Annual Ronald McDonald House Radiothon
On Thursday and Friday, February 10-12, American Home Shield and the ServiceMaster Family of Brands will host the 20th Annual Rock 103 Ronald McDonald House Radiothon at the AHS Memphis Service Center. Preparations are underway to accommodate more than 100 Ronald McDonald House volunteers, including numerous service center associates who have volunteered personal hours, to help staff the phones for this event. The annual radiothon is the House's largest fundraiser, with a goal set at $350,000 this year. This is the fifth year that AHS has participated.
From 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 through 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, the Rock 103 DJs, John "Bad Dog" McCormack, Tim Spencer, Ric Chetter, Brother Doug and Melody Meadows will broadcast and help raise funds and awareness for "The House That Love Built."
Volunteers from across the city and country who are passionate about this special organization will be visiting our Memphis service center to volunteer during this 36-hour event. Fun activities are planned throughout the radiothon to keep the energy levels high. We expect visits from different local personalities throughout the day. Ronald McDonald himself will be stopping by Thursday afternoon and we’re expecting a very special visit from Ali, a remarkable young lady and cancer survivor who calls the Ronald McDonald House her “home-away-from-home.” Don’t miss out on your opportunity to share in this exceptional event.

About the Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House of Memphis is a home-away-from-home for 51 families who live in Memphis while their child receives treatment for cancer or another catastrophic illness. These special families reside at "the House" free of charge and enjoy private rooms, communal living and dining areas and the comforts of home while in Memphis. Ronald McDonald House of Memphis was built in 1991 and is one of the largest houses in the Ronald McDonald House network.
