Deadline Extended For First-Time Homebuyer Tax CreditMemphis, TN June 4, 2010 - Americans who have recently served their country abroad are getting a break from Uncle Sam. Members of the military and certain other federal employees who served overseas between December 31, 2008 and May 1, 2010 have another year to take advantage of the tax credit for first-time homebuyers.
