ASPS Welcomes LifeCell Corporation as Platinum Supporter of Plastic Surgery The Meeting
Premier educational and networking event for aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons kicks off October 11 in San Diego.
Arlington Heights, Ill. (July 29, 2013) - In preparation for the 82nd annual premier scientific conference for plastic surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) announced LifeCell Corporation has signed on as a Platinum Supporter of Plastic Surgery The Meeting.
Plastic Surgery The Meeting brings together the best and the brightest surgeons in the specialty to share their expertise with colleagues from nearly 50 countries around the globe. It is the leading educational and networking event of the year for both domestic and international plastic surgeons.
"Like ASPS, LifeCell is committed to innovation and ultimately improving patient lives. We're excited to have them join us in San Diego to further this cause," said ASPS president Gregory Evans, MD.
The ASPS Premier Support program provides industry partners with increased visibility, additional benefits and greater recognition for their support at Plastic Surgery The Meeting. Partnering with ASPS provides unprecedented opportunities to communicate and engage with aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons from around the world.
"Working with ASPS allows us to access an elite group of plastic surgeons whose knowledge, experience and vast capabilities help us in achieving a commitment that we share: the commitment to improve patients' lives," said Rene Snowden, Vice President of Marketing for LifeCell.
Noteworthy enhancements to Plastic Surgery The Meeting this year include:
• New cosmetic general sessions, which feature four new half-day modules focused on key cosmetic procedures-breast augmentation, body contouring, surgical facial rejuvenation and non-invasive procedures-offering more aesthetic education in the in-depth and technique-rich format attendees would expect from an ASPS clinical symposia.
• Video demonstrations of patient markings and technique, plus a live local anesthesia injection demonstration.
• The Senior Residents Conference will be held this year in conjunction with Plastic Surgery The Meeting in San Diego in order to unite tradition and practicality for residents.
