Cradle Rock Transforms Iconic Songs and Albums Into Lullabies

Atlanta, GA – October 2011 – Brash Music and Tree Top Records, companies that partnered to create and produce “Cradle Rock” (http://www.cradlerockstore.com), will release U2, Taylor Swift and Pink Floyd lullaby albums on November 8th. These titles join Cradle Rock’s existing catalog including Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash and Kenny Chesney. Cradle Rock uses soothing sounds from instruments such as the vibraphone, glockenspiel and mellotron to create lullabies that are true to the melodic structure and tempo of the original songs.

“Each album is produced for parents who want to introduce children to the music they love, but in a softer, gentler format,” says Steve Jones, CEO of Brash Music. “The artwork is kid-friendly while the songs are soothing and comforting. Parents write us about how cool it is to listen to these albums as opposed to some of the other kid music out there.”

Describing the new releases, Cradle Rock Producer Stephen Gause says, “Even children can go ‘where the streets have no name.’ The U2 lullabies are based on The Joshua Tree. The kids will be on the ‘sleepy side of the moon’ with Pink Floyd and tearless and dreaming with Taylor Swift’s Fearless.”

David Williams, president of Tree Top Records and executive producer, says “Cradle Rock focuses on iconic artists and albums that appeal to music fans across a wide variety of genres. What sets Cradle Rock apart is that other lullaby releases are a collection of hits or compilations by various artists while we replicate entire albums.”

Cradle Rock albums, distributed by The Warner Music Group, are available at www.cradlerockstore.com, through all digital distribution services like iTunes for $9.99, and at music retail outlets across the United States for $11.98. Advance copies, links to online previews and track listings are available upon request.
