ATS Fleet Services Partners with Toyota Rent a Car of San Antonio/San Marcos to Offer its PlatePass® Toll Management Solution
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – American Traffic Solutions today announced that its PlatePass® toll management solution is now available at Toyota Rent a Car of San Antonio/San Marcos locations in San Antonio and San Marcos, Texas. PlatePass allows Toyota rental customers to use automated electronic toll payment in high speed, cashless toll lanes.
PlatePass® affords renters the convenience of either “opting in” at the Toyota Rent a Car counter, or on the road simply by using an automated toll lane. Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are automatically PlatePass enabled, so no contracts or pre-registrations are required. A window cling tag is affixed to all vehicles rented from Toyota Rent a Car of San Antonio/San Marcos, and an embedded chip supplies toll authorities with pertinent billing information. Also, by automating the tolling process, PlatePass helps drivers avoid costly toll violations and fines that often accompany driving in unfamiliar regions.
