Glenn Giveans joins AmeriHealth Casualty as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Philadelphia, PA — December 18, 2012 — AmeriHealth Casualty Insurance Company (AHC) today announced that Glenn Giveans has joined the organization as vice president of sales and marketing. Giveans will report to Don Liskay, president and CEO of AmeriHealth Casualty.
In his new position, Giveans is responsible for the sales and marketing of all AHC’s insured, third party administrator, and service products as well as customer service. He will work closely with the AHC senior team to realign duties and responsibilities in order to focus the company’s sales and customer service efforts.
Giveans brings 20 years of experience in sales, account management, staff management, and commercial underwriting. Most recently, he served as branch vice president at PMA Insurance Group where he oversaw the eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets. Prior to his tenure at PMA Insurance Group, Giveans worked for the Reliance Insurance Company in various underwriting and sales positions. He began his career in Michigan as an underwriter at Cigna.
Giveans earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut. He has participated in various sales training and management programs through Charter Property Casualty Underwriter. Giveans is also a member of the Cathedral board of directors.
