CORAL SPRINGS, FL– AMETEK Power Instruments has set February 2 to 4, 2016 for its 5thannual Universal Power Line Carrier (UPLC) Users Group Meeting at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in Coral Springs, FL. The three-day conference will provide training on AMETEK’s latest UPLC/UPLC-II and TC-10B/TCF-10B product lines.
Day one is intended for new users who require basic training in power line carrier along with hands-on training with AMETEK’s TC/TCF-10B and UPLC products. Sessions on days two and three will cover more advanced features as well as new product developments and include discussion forums to provide users an opportunity to meet and interact with AMETEK Power Line Carrier experts.
The meeting follows the release earlier this year of AMETEK’s next-generation UPLC-II, the most versatile and advanced power line carrier in the power industry. The UPLC-II features protective relaying dependability and security improvements, advanced metering, a front Ethernet port, a new user interface and full compatibility with AMETEK’s original UPLC.
