WESTERLY, RI — AMETEK SCP, a world leader in underwater cable and connector solutions for military and commercial applications, was among a group of UK aerospace and defense suppliers to be recognized as part of the SC21 awards program with a 2014 Bronze Award from the ADS Group for supplier excellence.

Organized by ADS, a London-based aerospace trade organization, the SC21 program involves businesses at all levels of the aerospace and defense supply chain that are committed to improving the supply chain and at increasing the competitiveness of the UK aerospace and defense industry.
Since its launch in 2006, the program has involved approximately 650 businesses of which more than 300 have been presented awards for their efforts. To be recognized, a business needs to demonstrate world-class performance in the areas of manufacturing excellence, on-time delivery and continuous sustainable improvement.
