Horsham, PA – AMETEK Drexelbrook, a world leader in level measurement technology, now offers a Total Tank Level Measurement System that incorporates proven magnetostrictive sensing technology and multi-variable functionality.
The system features five temperature sensor outputs distributed over the active length of the system’s polymer and stainless steel probe. The rugged and flexible probe is available in lengths up to 50 feet, an industry exclusive, as well as in a rigid 316 stainless steel version.
The system’s intrinsically safe, explosion-proof design and all-welded construction make it an ideal choice for oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical storage tank and inventory control applications. The system’s digital Modbus output measures total level, interface level and temperature from an explosion-proof housing. Its accuracy is 0.01% of measured span – less than 1mm absolute – over the full measurement range.
The system meets FM and FMc hazardous area approvals and requires minimal maintenance. A variety of floats and mounting accessories are available to fit virtually any application. The probes are offered with a choice of single or dual NPT mountings.
