 Oak Ridge, TN  – The ORTEC Products Group of AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology has announced the release of GammaVision 8 software for gamma spectroscopy, which now includes both high- and low- resolution applications and  has been fully validated for use with Windows® 10.

GammaVision 8 adds several new spectrum analysis options, including the ability to analyze Scintillation Detector spectra, making it a universal solution for gamma spectroscopy.  This release is fully compatible with the Windows® 10 operating system and supports the ANSI N42.42 file format.  Additionally, comprehensive test results are provided to meet software Quality Assurance requirements.
