TMC NAMES PHILLIP CHO MANAGER OF NEWLY ESTABLISHED MID-ATLANTIC SALES OFFICE

PEABODY, MA, March 29, 2016 —TMC, an industry leader in high-performance vibration cancellation technology, has appointed Phillip Cho as Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Region.
Based at TMC’s new Mid-Atlantic sales office in Annandale, Virginia, Mr. Cho will strengthen TMC’s presence in the region by developing new business relationships and supporting existing customers. As TMC grows along with the need for advanced vibration cancellation systems, it is crucial for TMC experts to be located in hubs of activity, including the Mid-Atlantic region.
“Phillip has a strong background in vibration and acoustic control in automobile and vehicle applications,” states Steve Ryan, Divisional Vice President, TMC. “He will apply that decades-long experience to solve environmental noise challenges faced by scientists and engineers in photonics, metrology, life sciences, semiconductor, and nanotechnology industries.”
Prior to joining TMC, Mr. Cho held positions in engineering, sales, and management in industrial equipment markets, including agricultural tractors and construction equipment, and the automotive industry. In those capacities, he developed customer-driven technologies that added value to consumer satisfaction.
Mr. Cho holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California Berkeley and Purdue University, respectively. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University.
