Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by American Shipping Company ASA (“AMSC”) on 3 September 2021 regarding the acquisition of shares in AMSC made by Vilja AS, a company controlled by Peter D. Knudsen, board member in AMSC.  Please see the attached notification for persons discharging managerial responsibilities in AMSC in accordance with Regulation EU 596/2014 (MAR) article 19.
