New York, NY (March 20, 2024) - Today, Amuse has released the first official compilation from Anti Social Camp - Anti Social Camp, Vol. 1. Amuse partners with Anti Social Camp, the world's largest songwriting camp, every June in New York City to bring together and celebrate songwriters. The 13 tracks, released now in full, compiles standout songs created at the 2023 camp, that span the gamut of sound, style, and genre. The 2024 Anti Social Camp is set to take place again this year, June 10-15, once again in New York City.
Kota The Friend’s “bad 4 u” kicks off this final batch of tracks strong with its lush production, soulful hook, and combined witty wordplay courtesy of Kota. New York singer-songwriter Ernest Brockenberry brings to the table an atmospheric, heart-string-pulling fusion of indie and R&B with “Smooth Brain.” “Wish You The Best“ sees Dublin-born songwriter and producer Josh Gray and pop musician Gomey meld their seasoned pop sensibilities and vocal styles to produce a slice of potent synth-pop. On “Chasing Love," British-American trio Raynes taps into their various genre influences to craft a folksy contemporary pop ballad whose sense of scale and emotional punch is accentuated by guest vocals from country singer Juliana Cervizzi. Indonesian-Croatian musician/singer-songwriter/producer Andrea Turkcloses the comp with a bang on “WOO WOO” with its eclectic flavors of hyperpop and electronica brimming with galvanizing energy.
Known for bucking trends, Kota the Friend’s approach to hip hop favors musically rich instrumentals and vivid, sometimes surreal wordplay over the interchangeable trap styles of his peers. That philosophy is echoed in this latest single and brought to new dimensions, only made possible by the collaborations of Anti Social Camp.

“Anti Social Camp celebrates the age of collaboration in pop music,” said Danny Ross, Founder of Anti Social Camp and BerkleeNYC professor. “‘Anti Social Camp Vol. 1’ is our first official album and a dream realized. Amuse has given us invaluable support to curate and release 13 standout hits out of 100+ records made at Anti Social Camp 2023. Unbelievably, these songs were made in 4-hour sessions last June with complete strangers — now they’re ready to be heard across the world. Anti Social Camp is a vehicle to remind the music industry of New York’s legacy, and the significant pool of talent here ready to change the game. Now let’s get ready to make Volume 2 in June.”
