Following a year of strong growth, next-generation music distributor and label amuse has hired former EMI, Warner, Sony and WMA Executive Hannah Dudley to head up its Artist Marketing team. With vast experience within music marketing – from strategy to campaign rollouts – Hannah Dudley will be in charge of developing amuse’s catalog of signed tracks.

With 14 years of experience across both digital and traditional music marketing, Hannah Dudley joins amuse’s global label team to lead strategy and manage campaigns for amuse’s licensed roster. The hire follows a strong year of growth for amuse’s label, which now has 5000+ tracks within their catalog of licensed music. Recent amuse hit projects include US bedroom pop phenomenon Yot Club’s “YKWIM?”, rising Canadian rap/R&B artist 80purppp and Vundabar’s viral “Alien Blues”, that recently got its TV debut performed live at Late Night with Seth Myers.

–amuse’s label has such a powerful proposition. Through the services we offer to signed artists, we are driving real strategic value that sets us apart from our competitors. Our latest projects showcase our ability to supercharge our artists’ careers while helping them retain their independent identity and honestly, it’s a privilege to work with such talent, says Hannah Dudley.

Hannah Dudley started her career at EMI in London, in charge of digital strategy for artists like The Beatles, David Bowie, blur and Pink Floyd. She went on to Warner UK as Head of Digital, working on what would become Top 10 albums for Robert Plant, Johnny Marr and Pink Floyd.

In 2015, she relocated to the US to start her own marketing consultancy in Nashville, but was quickly picked up by Sony Nashville who named her VP of Marketing Strategy and New Business, where her role included overseeing debuts for Maren Morris and Kane Brown. Most recently, prior to joining amuse, she was Global Director of Marketing Strategy at digital agency WMA where she ran strategic marketing campaigns for independent artists including Ingrid Michaelson, Donovan Woods and Sony Japan’s millennium parade.

Hannah’s expertise, network and understanding of the modern music marketing landscape makes her the perfect link between our data-driven A&R approach and the campaigns that take our signed music and artists to the next stage of their career. The past year was already very successful for our label, so we’re very excited for what’s to come, says Christoffer Mard, Chief Label Officer at amuse.

Spread across Nashville, New York, London and Stockholm, the amuse label team has vast experience and networks within the music industry. Other recent additions to the artist marketing team includes Stars Redmond and Sean Staranka.

Senior Marketing Manager Stars Redmond is previously Head Digital Marketing Manager at Eleven Management, with a background at EMI and Island Records. She’s still an integral part of Gorillaz’ marketing team and the former manager of AlunaGeorge.

Marketing Manager Sean Staranka recently joined amuse after 4.5 years at RCA Records, working on projects such as Foo Fighters, Ruel and Yebba.
