Cartridge World is the title sponsor of Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing, the first European motor-racing team created with the clear intention to operate its entire operation ‘carbon zero’, using biofuels and working with R&D partners to showcase reliable automotive technologies to produce more efficient road-going vehicles. Mike Cooper of Cartridge World Milton Keynes said: “We’re really excited to be involved with the first ever racing team created to compete carbon zero. We fully agree with the team’s belief that motorsport can be part of the solution, not the problem. “Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing demonstrates that there is an alternative for racing teams. Similarly Cartridge World provides the quality alternative to the original manufacturer’s replacement product. Our customers know that by reusing printer cartridges, they can save money, reduce the amount of plastic being sent to landfill and there is no compromise on their print quality.” Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing is competing in the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). The tournament is visiting circuits across the UK including Silverstone on 30th August. Cartridge World is the market leading retailer of refilled and remanufactured printer cartridges. Using specifically formulated inks or toners, the Cartridge World stores can refill all major brands of inkjet or laser cartridge. The end result is a high quality product offering the customer substantial savings on the cost of an original and an environmentally-friendly alternative to throwing the cartridge into landfill.
