ÅF Group adds extra muscle to its IS/IT operations with the acquisition of Arjano Data AB The ÅF Group has acquired the IT consulting company Arjano Data AB. Arjano, which has 20 consultants working with the development of business solutions, systems design and project management, will come under the ÅF Group's Information Systems unit. This will add extra strength to the Group's already successful operations in the fields of information systems and information technology. "Demand for our IS/IT consulting services has continued to remain brisk despite events in the market as a whole," says Magnus Ankarstrand, the manager for the ÅF subsidiary concerned. "The acquisition of Arjano will broaden our interface with the market and provide a good complement to the skills and expertise we already offer." Ankarstrand also points out that the positive effects of the acquisition on the profitability of the Information Systems unit will be apparent even in the current year's accounts.
