ÅF Group to supply telecom equipment to Texas

ÅF Group to supply telecom equipment to Texas The ÅF Group's research and development laboratory in Kista on the outskirts of Stockholm has won an export order from Allgon Telecom Ltd. in Texas, USA, that will have a key strategic significance for the Group. The computerised, fully automated assembly equipment for inbuilt mobile phone antennas that has been ordered is the same as that already supplied by the ÅF Group to Allgon Mobile Communications AB in Sweden. A corresponding order for delivery to Allgon Mobile Communications was also received just a few days ago. The value of these two orders totals approximately SEK 10 million. Each year the ÅF Group supplies production equipment for the telecom and pharmaceutical industries to a value of around SEK 60 million. The next step will be for the ÅF Group to establish a presence in Texas in order to provide on-the-spot assistance and support for its computer and telecom clients in the USA.
