Shell chooses ÅF Group as consultants in bid to become all-round energy supplier The Shell Company in Sweden (Svenska Shell) has signed a cooperation agreement with the ÅF Group, one of Sweden's largest independent consulting companies in issues relating to the energy industry. Under the terms of the agreement the ÅF Group will provide consulting services to support Shell's ambition to become a full-service energy supplier. The project, known as Shell Energihus (Shell Powerhouse), offers a raft of services and products aimed at enabling commercial customers to make more rational use of their energy systems. "Thanks to the involvement of the ÅF Group, Shell customers will have access to an off-the-peg package of products and qualified consulting services within the fields of energy and the environment," says Colin Abraham, who heads Svenska Shell Commercial. "Our solutions will reduce customers' overall energy bills - and diminish the impact on the environment as well," says Lars Dahlström, who is responsible for energy-related issues at the ÅF Group's office in Göteborg on the west coast of Sweden.
