ANICCA DIGITAL CO-HOSTS GOOGLE AT E-COMMERCE CONFERENCE AT LEICESTER’S CURVE

Leading digital marketing specialist, Anicca Digital, has teamed up with Curve and Leicester Digital Networking to co-host an e-commerce marketing and technology conference and networking event on 3rdNovember, where it will be joined by Google.

Speaking in Leicester for the first time, Google’s Agency Development Manager, Adam Devlin, will deliver a talk on ‘Insights from Google: consumer trends, on line growth and the future of digital advertising’ at a networking event following the conference.

The initiative has been set up by Ann Stanley, Managing Director at Anicca, in partnership with Curve Theatre and Leicester Digital Exchange, who have also invited a number of speakers from agencies and e-commerce businesses to take part in the conference.

Ann will give two talks at the event, with the first covering shopping ads and buy buttons, and the second on increasing returns on ad spending.

Ann comments: “We are hosting an e-commerce marketing and technology conference, which will bring together key speakers from various agencies, technology partners and established e-commerce businesses, including a number of companies from the Leicester area.

“We are delighted to have Adam Devlin of Google join us as our keynote speaker, who we are confident will deliver some fascinating insights, and to have an opportunity to provide 150 delegates with access to a wide range of e-commerce specialists. In addition to the talks, we will be hosting round table discussions on a number of key topics, which promise to be lively and engaging.

“The number of e-commerce firms based in the county is growing, so this offers an excellent opportunity for those firms to learn how to improve their online presence and how this can have a positive impact on sales.”

Additional speakers will include Ian Brown of Un.titled, Digital and E-commerce specialists, Andy Steel of Loughborough-based e-commerce firm BuyDirect4U, Josh Pitman of Priory Direct, which provides packaging consultancy to e-commerce retailers, Callum McKeefery of Reviews.co.uk and other e-commerce specialists.

Talks will cover interactive merchandising, market places, reviews and seller ratings, social shopping and SEO authority through content marketing, PR and outreach.

Tickets are £25 per person, which includes refreshments.

The E-commercial Conference takes place from 8.30am to 5pm on Tuesday 3rd November and is followed by Curve and Leicester Digital networking event and a drinks reception, which starts 4.30pm.
