A Nottingham-based company specialising in visual display products has created an exclusive partnership with a renowned German manufacturer to bring its new collection of magnetic glass boards to the UK.

BoardsDirect.co.uk has expanded its product range by signing an exclusive deal with office supplies manufacturer Sigel, which is known for its innovative style-led designs.

The deal covers the exclusive marketing and trade distribution of all magnetic glass boards with special designs.

The new Artverum collection features magnetic glass noticeboards with unique design effects, such as wood, copper and bronze, which deliver a finish that is both practical and artistic.

Paul Pinder, Director at Boards Direct, comments: “We are excited to bring this exclusive collection to the UK for the first time, as they offer a contemporary twist on the classic noticeboard and are a natural fit for our existing portfolio. This partnership is a natural one for Boards Direct, as our company ethos echoes that of Sigel. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with high quality, innovative products that are not only functional, but help to transform work spaces with design-led ideas.

“These are one of a kind designs and are like nothing else currently on the market, which is why we were so keen to bring them to the UK. The initial feedback we have received from our customers has been very positive and we look forward to seeing these used in a working environment.”

Sven Reimann, International Business Development Manager at Sigel, comments: “Boards Direct has established itself as a brand that specialises in high quality visual display products, which makes it an excellent fit for Sigel. Our latest range of contemporary glass noticeboards really pushes the boundaries of design, so we are pleased that Boards Direct is able to bring them to a UK audience for the first time.”

The partnership comes after Boards Direct launched a new virtual office in Düsseldorf, which will be followed by the launch of a dedicated German website within the next six months.

The Artverum Collection

The Artverum collection includes metal effect glass boards in four finishes, including gold, bronze, silver and copper, which provide a contemporary look to this classic office accessory and benefit from concealed fixings. The design of these boards gives an appearance of a textured finish, which makes a striking statement, while the polished tempered glass finish delivers a smooth surface for writing. The magnetic finish also means that notes and business cards can easily be pinned to the surface. Available in two sizes: 48cm by 48cm and 91cm by 46cm. Priced from £67.80.

The wood design glass board gives a natural effect to this contemporary magnetic noticeboard. Available in a natural wood or dark wood finish, this product is ideal for those wanting a product that delivers a natural appearance with a contemporary polished tempered glass finish. Measures 48cm by 48cm.  Natural wood finish also available in two additional sizes: 91cm by 46cm and 130cm by 55cm.

A world map with a modern twist, this magnetic glass noticeboard is a practical piece of artwork. This noticeboard gives a textured stone appearance, while benefitting from a polished tempered glass finish, and its magnetic properties mean you can pin important documents and notes to it, as well as making notes. Measures 91cm by 46cm. Priced at £171.

The company, which launched as a start-up in 2010, achieved a 21% increase in sales in 2015 and is now on target to reach a turnover of £3 million at the end of its financial year in October.
