AniCura accelerates its digital journey
AniCura recruits new team to drive digitalisation and shape the future of veterinary care.
Emma Strömfelt, previously Head of Innovation at Nordic retail bank Swedbank, has been appointed Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at AniCura. Emma Strömfelt joins AniCura in October and brings a wealth of experience from the gaming, e-commerce and app development industries.
- I am impressed by AniCura’s journey and look forward to developing veterinary care with new digital services for pet owners. In the future, an area like artificial intelligence could play an important role in preventing and diagnosing diseases and in some regards, we might pave way for human health care, says Emma Strömfelt, new CDO at AniCura.
AniCura’s digital team is further strengthened by the additions of Sofia Landström and Emma Dahlbäck. Sofia Landström joins AniCura as Group Manager Online and was previously Head of Business Development at e-health provider “Doktor 24”. She has a long background as entrepreneur and CEO in human health care. In addition, Emma Dahlbäck, previously Head of IT Operations at a Swedish telecom operator, joins AniCura as Head of IT.
- We are pleased to have recruited a strong team to AniCura and have high expectations on how we will digitalize AniCura and accelerate the rollout of digital services. The team’s combined experiences of digitalisation and health care will be key to meet changing expectations on veterinary care, says Peter Dahlberg, CEO AniCura.
AniCura was founded in 2011 as the first merger of animal hospitals in the Nordic region. Since then, the company has grown to 4,500 employees at 225 clinics in seven European countries.
