AniCura recruits and strengthens the leadership team with Maria Lagerstam as new People & Organisation (HR) Director, Kieran Slevin as CFO and Linda Nyberg as interim Group Communications Director.
Maria Lagerstam, Group P&O Director, joins AniCura from McDonalds in the Nordics where she was leading the HR function in a company with 20,000 employees. Prior to that she was head of Group HR at the international pest-control company Anticimex with 6,000 employees in 18 countries.
Kieran Slevin, Group CFO, has an extensive international FMCG background, having started his career with The Gillette Company and subsequently moved to Procter & Gamble. He joined Mars Inc. in 2013, initially in Mars Ireland then moved to Johannesburg as CFO for the Southern Africa region. Most recently, he was the global director for financial planning and reporting based at Mars Inc’s head office in Washington DC.
Linda Nyberg, interim Group Communications Director, has a background as a journalist at the global news channel Al Jazeera. She has also led the marketing and communications department at pharmaceutical company Apoteket AB and held leading communications positions in the global hygiene and health company Essity. Most recently, she was CMO and Head of New Business at the tech company Flarie.

Maria Lagerstam assumes her position as Group P&O Director at AniCura no later than October 1st. Kieran Slevin assumed his position as CFO on June 1st and Linda Nyberg assumes her position as interim Group Communications Director on August 17.
