Throughout 2017, a number of high-quality veterinary clinics in Germany have joined AniCura. With the acquisition of a majority stake in Tierklinik Haar, AniCura cements its position as a leading provider of advanced veterinary care in the country.

Employing more than 80 veterinarians, nurses and other veterinary professionals, Tierklinik Haar is one of the largest animal clinics in Germany. More than 20 of its employees are either European specialists (Diplomates), assistant veterinarians in residency, or German national specialists.
Tierklinik Haar is located outside Munich on 1500 sqm modern, refurbished premises. The clinic is fully equipped with CT (computer tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), digital x-ray, advanced ultrasound and modern endoscopic equipment. Tierklinik Haar runs a 24/7 emergency service and provides a full range of specialised veterinary care services, ranging from orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery to internal medicine, cardiology and neurology. The clinic also boasts specialised competence around smaller pets, for example, rabbits and guinea pigs.
Tierklinik Haar is very active in the German veterinary community organising seminars and educational activities for other veterinarians. Currently, the clinic has three veterinarians undergoing training to become European specialists (Diplomate residents).
– It is a great pleasure to welcome Tierklinik Haar to AniCura. Their highly skilled team will play an important role in realising our vision of shaping the future of veterinary care, together, says Peter Dahlberg, CEO AniCura.
