Azita Shariati appointed new Group CEO of AniCura
Azita Shariati has been appointed new Group CEO of AniCura. She will assume her new position no later than December 1, 2019, replacing Peter Dahlberg who has announced that he will step down after more than seven successful years as CEO.
Azita Shariati joins AniCura from the multinational company Sodexo where she spent the past 21 years in different managerial roles in the service and hospitality industry. Since 2017, she has been President of Sodexo Nordics leading 11,000 employees at more than 1,200 locations and CEO of Sodexo Healthcare Nordics which includes medical equipment and eye clinics. Azita has a strong leadership track record demonstrating consistent ability to deliver results combined with successful efforts to improve diversity and inclusion. She was born in Iran in 1968, moved to Sweden in 1988 and holds a degree in food economics from the University of Gothenburg.
