AniCura, one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality veterinary care for companion animals, has acquired Fana Dyreklinikk. The new partnership means Fana Dyreklinikk will enjoy greater development potential and a professional network, which in turn will lead to improved accessibility and service for pet owners in the Bergen area.

Fana Dyreklinikk was founded in 2008 by veterinarian Jo Oeding Amundstad. The clinic, which is one of three in the Vestlandsbyen region certified by the Norwegian Veterinary Association, is located in central Bergen.

Pets and their owners are offered high levels of expertise within surgery, eye care, internal medicine and dentistry. The clinic has modern and efficient premises with high-tech dental equipment, a complete medical imaging department and a fully equipped laboratory that provides rapid, accurate diagnoses. The clinic also has equipment for endoscopy and arthroscopy.

Special emphasis is placed on professional skills development and training at Fana Dyreklinikk, and the clinic is well-equipped for future expansion.

– We are very pleased to have become part of AniCura as the next step in our development. Over the next few years, we are planning to grow Fana Dyreklinikk to satisfy the ever greater demands of our customers. AniCura's experience and stable network will be crucial for these efforts and our investments in further training, says Camilla Meltevik, practice manager at Fana Dyreklinikk.

– Fana Dyreklinikk is an excellent complement to our Norwegian and European organization of animal hospitals and clinics. The team at Fana Dyreklinikk is committed to continuous learning and high-quality care. This means they fit in well with the rest of our practices, and we extend them a warm welcome, says Øyvind Johnsen Brøgger, Business Area Manager, AniCura Norway.
