Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is delighted to offer a Life Balance Ayurvedic Package. Designed by the hotel’s very own Ayurvedic doctor, and available until 31 March, 2010, this uplifting package has been designed to encourage peace of mind and provide a sense of wellbeing. The two-day package includes an array of spa treatments that will bring harmony to both body and mind. Located above the calming rhythms of the Chao Phraya River, the hotel’s authentic Ayurvedic Penthouse, the only solely dedicated Ayurveda retreat in Bangkok, is a four room sanctuary where traditional lamps and jasmine incense provide an ambience of comfort and tranquility. The Life Balance Package is available until 31 March, 2010. Room rates per night are £758 for single occupancy and £1,089 for double occupancy*. The package is inclusive of: • A minimum two night stay in a Deluxe River Wing Room inclusive of buffet breakfast for one or two people • Late check-out, subject to availability • Roundtrip BMW 730 Ld limousine transfers • A selection of Ayurvedic treatments for one or two people: o Keraleeya Abhyangam: Warm herbal oil body massage that is followed by a steam session and body scrub, and is beneficial for relaxation and rejuvenation o Shirodhara: Improves sleep, relieves stress, calms the mind and the warm oil is also beneficial for the hair and scalp o Urdwangam: Indian head massage that concentrates on the back, shoulders, head and neck muscles o Kizhi: Improves overall circulation and tension by massaging the muscles with warm bundles of herbal powder o Urdwartanam: Dry herbal powder body massage that aids cellulite and improves overall circulation, while gently exfoliating the skin o Back and Foot Massage (0.5 hours): Concentrates on pressure points to relax and rejuvenate the body o Private Yoga Class (1.0 hours): Balance the mind and body with a professional teacher Additional nights inclusive of buffet breakfast are available for £240 per room per night.
