Equestrian Clinic at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa with Top Eventer and Trainer Richard Waygood MBE 14th – 15th April 2010 From 14th – 15th April, saddle up with top eventer and trainer, Richard Waygood, for an exclusive eventing clinic at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. As Riding Master of the Household Cavalry, the first serving officer to compete at Badminton for 23 years and a top event rider, there is no end to Richard’s equestrian prowess. He now trains to international level as well as managing and training a British team. His instruction in dressage, showjumping and cross country is inspiring to any keen rider. Set in the 500 acres of Lucknam Park’s parkland, Richard’s combined training clinic will include three training sessions over the two days: 1) riding a dressage test 2) showjumping 3) cross country training, focusing on rhythm and accuracy. The training will be in groups of 4/5 and participants will be grouped based on ability. During the two days, riders will use all the fabulous equestrian facilities at Lucknam Park including the newly built cross country course with jumps for both novice and advanced. Not only will riders benefit from Richard's instruction but he will also join for dinner on the Wednesday evening and talk about his eventing days and role as Riding Master for the Household Cavalry. From £605 per person: The clinic includes three training sessions over the two days 1 nights’ accommodation on a full board basis and hire of a school horse.
