Nestled within the elegant gardens - which boast strong affiliations with influential garden designer Gertrude Jekyll - are two tennis courts, a croquet lawn and a putting green, making Greywalls the perfect retreat to enjoy a traditional British summer. The hotel, which opened on 1st May, was designed by Edwardian architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and built in 1901. The house has retained to this day the original classical style for which it is renowned, and offers 23 en suite bedrooms, beautiful public rooms including a dedicated whisky room and traditional style library.
