Anora announces the resignation of Chief HR Officer Kirsi Lehtola and the appointment of Johanna Sundén as the new CHRO and member of the Executive Management Team

Johanna Sundén has been appointed as Anora’s Chief HR Officer and member of Anora’s Executive Management Team and will begin in her new position by the end of December 2023. She will succeed Kirsi Lehtola, who has decided to resign from the company after leading Anora’s HR operations as a member of the Executive Management Team since 2016. Kirsi will continue to provide transition support until her successor joins the company.

Johanna Sundén (b. 1973) will join Anora from her current position as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Orkla Health. Sundén has extensive experience from HR Operations and leading international HR teams. Prior to joining Anora, she held several senior HR positions in international companies such as the Wilhelmsen Group and Lindorff. She has experience from working with M&As, company integrations, leadership development, talent management and organisational change. In addition to her solid track record in human resources, Sundén also has valuable know-how from strategy implementation and communications, and her international background of working in multi-cultural environments adds to her qualifications.

“We have been focusing strongly on developing Anora’s organisational culture and HR practices to meet our strategic goal of being the preferred workplace in our industry. Kirsi has done superb work on this front, especially during the major changes we have gone through as we have built our new organisation as Anora. On behalf of everyone at Anora, I would like to thank Kirsi for her many contributions and wish her all the best. Looking forward, I am extremely happy to have Johanna take the lead in Anora’s HR operations and join our Executive Management Team. Johanna brings with her diverse, international experience and strategic vision to support our leadership development and growth ambitions,” says Pekka Tennilä, CEO of Anora.

“I look forward to joining Anora and getting to know the employees and leadership. It will be a privilege to work with Anora’s popular, well-known, and international beverage brands. The company’s focus on sustainability and Nordic values are inspiring to me. As CHRO I will focus on building a winning organisation and a diverse and inclusive company culture where employees thrive,” comments Johanna Sundén.
