Anora sells its Swedish Snälleröds schnapps brand to Saturnus

Anora, the leading Nordic wine and spirits brand house, has completed the sale of its Swedish schnapps brand Snälleröds to the Malmö-based beverage company Saturnus AB. As part of the agreement, Saturnus will take over the production, distribution, and sales of Snälleröds products effective from 18 November 2024. This allows Anora to further focus on its core brands and streamline its portfolio.

The divestment includes the Snälleröds schnapps brand and its two products as well as the production equipment from the Snälleröds micro-distillery located in Ljungbyhed, Sweden. The sale is aligned with Anora’s strategy to concentrate on its core brands with considerable growth potential.

Snälleröds, rooted in Scanian heritage, has developed a reputation for its organic and handcrafted schnapps. Anora believes Saturnus is well-positioned to continue and enhance the legacy of Snälleröds on the Swedish market.

The divestment was completed on 18 November 2024. This divestment does not have a significant financial impact on Anora and it does not effect Anora’s personnel.
