Inside information, profit warning: Anora Group lowers its 2023 guidance

Anora Group has decided to lower its 2023 guidance for comparable EBITDA. Anora now expects the company’s comparable EBITDA for 2023 to be EUR 70–78 million. Previously Anora expected the comparable EBITDA to be EUR 80–90 million. For the full year 2022, Anora’s comparable EBITDA was EUR 76.1 million.

The key reasons for lowering the guidance are that the forecasted profitability of Globus Wine for 2023 is significantly lower than originally expected, and that the weakening of Swedish and Norwegian crowns have had a significant negative impact on Anora’s profits during the first half of the year, especially in the Wine segment.

New guidance for 2023:
In 2023, Anora’s comparable EBITDA is expected to be between EUR 70 and 78 million.

Previous guidance for 2023:
In 2023, Anora’s comparable EBITDA is expected to be between EUR 80 and 90 million.

Anora Group will publish its half-year financial report on 25 August 2023. Due to the silent period, the company will not give further comments on its result before publishing the half-year report. Anora will hold a webcast for analysts and media on the day of the result release.
