Anoto Group AB Signs Video Technology Contract

Anoto’s business segment for video technology and ASIC development has signed a new contract with a global manufacturer of mobile phone platforms.

Anoto has signed a similar contract with the same manufacturer earlier this year. The contract that now has been signed concerns development of IP blocks for mobile phones and is estimated to generate NRE revenues of approximately 3,5 MSEK during 2007.

The Anoto Technology application area, which is responsible for the development and sales of video technology, has signed a number of new agreements over the past year. Anoto's ASIC (Argus) is used in camera products, and Anoto's MPEG-4/H.263 video codec IP blocks have been used previously in a number of mobile phone platforms.

” This is another success for Anoto Technology. As already earlier communicated our technology will be included in an increasing number of mobile phones in the future and this will increase gross profit for 2007,” says Anders Norling, CEO at Anoto Group AB.
