Anoto signs contract with Chinese Partner At a ceremony today, in Daiyutai Government House, in Beijing the newly formed company AiNiDo signed a contract with Anoto to provide services enabling Anoto functionality for the China market. CNUC Unicom Group and Tong Fang Group have provided capital for AiNiDo totalling some 24 million USD. AiNiDo will be providing Anoto enabled services for example sending e- mails from digital paper and storing handwritten notes digitally. Services will be offered via the networks of China Mobile and China Unicoms. Additionally AiNiDo will be developing open services together with other third-party developers, i.e. customised forms processing solutions for the China market. "There are great opportunities to develop interesting paper-based solutions and we are convinced that Anoto functionality will be a great success," says Li Zheng, COB, CNUC Unicom Group. "In addition to providing standardised services enabling Anoto functionality we will also develop and sell customised corporate solutions for the processing of forms. There is tremendous potential in China and we intend to introduce paper-based services enabling Anoto functionality starting next year," says Lou Qiang, President, AiNiDo.
